They work harder and breathe faster,
They yearn for tears but are fenced in stress
And pressed for time into disaster.
In a society of superficial emptiness.
But I will go away from these narrow spaces,
To feel these exceptional reds and yellows;
To see these wonderful new faces,
Just trying to convince any fellows.
Though I swallow all scents, sounds and sights;
Moments of passion are reachable but rare.
Though I grab these sentiments with all their lights
And try to reach what daydreamers prove to dare.
Sensory perception with eyes and ears;
Surrounded by diversity to negate our fears.
